Tasks

• Identify and assess economic and pro poor market development issues in the cotton sub-sector,
analyze market opportunities and challenges
• Design and propose intervention strategies for the cotton sub-sector
• Prepare, implement and monitor interventions with partners and prepare all required documents
• Ensure reporting by partners and collection of monitoring data
• Collaborate with Business Analysts in other sub sectors, cross-sector services and cross-cutting
themes
• Collaborate with monitoring, communication and capitalisation team

Qualifications

• Graduate in economics or agronomics or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience
• Good understanding of market development issues
• Good understanding of private sector
• Practical experience in economic development is desirable
• Excellent analytical skills and strategic skills
• Good writing and presentation skills
