Post graduate qualification in Materials Management
EXPERIENCE :
10 – 18 years experience in Procurement at management level preferably in an ICT Company out of which at least 5 years should be in a senior management position.
Experience of handling multiple products will be distinct advantage.
Experience of working in Africa or familiarity with African Market will be preferred. Knowledge and experience of import export business is essential.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of Procurement function for the company as well as group companies in other countries.
- He would be accountable for product availability in time by coordinating with sales and suppliers and ensuring effective purchase and timely deliveries. He would build and maintain good relationships with all suppliers and keep abreast with development in the technology field especially regarding product launches and phase outs. He will work with suppliers and inward logistics to ensure reduction of costs.
- He should monitor stocks across territories and cost effectively manage stocks to ensure product availability at least costs.
